This project has been an investigation of crossing directions through several workshops, including scale shifts and material tests, using a “learning through making”-approach. It started with the organisation of the site and the directionalities in images, which led to the careful process of crafting wooden joints, and eventually to its intersecting forms in its own surface that creates intriguing patterns. The result of this investigation is a wooden structure, programmed as a large scale green house for crop production in Gävle outside Stockholm, growing out of a center, that cleaves and splits in multiple directions.
